Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and multi-faceted. This means that you, the client, get to decide how we use our time in therapy together! I’m always happy to provide options or guide clients in directive activities that are supportive in engaging with your goals, but nothing is ever mandatory.

My style is informed by many therapeutic modalities including: play therapy (for kids and adults!), polyvagal theory, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), IFS (Internal Family Systems) and parts work, EMDR (Eye Movement Desentisization Reprocessing) therapy to work through past traumatic experiences and negative self beliefs, and Strengths-Based Therapy (nurturing your inner strengths to support the challenges you are facing).
